Service and Repairs

There are two types of service that we operate. The first is your annual service which occurs once every 12 to 18 months depending on usage. The life of the special UV lamps is about 10,000 hours and to maintain optimum performance the lamps need replacement in these time frames. You will be quoted in advance for the service costs and receive a letter when they are due. There is a special light that will change from green to red if a service is required sooner than expected as there is a chip onboard that measures usage.

You have the option of refusing the service, however, every week that passes after the due date the Master Blaster performance deteriorates and requires lamp replacement and servicing.

The second type of service call is basically a repair. For example a unit may accidentally fall or get a knock and a lamp breaks or a fuse blows and so on. If you contact us we will immediately provide you with a replacement and arrange to repair your damaged unit. The replacement unit is free of charge but there may be a charge for replacing broken parts and travel costs but we always endeavour to keep these to a minimum and where possible we will try to do a number of calls in the same area to share travel costs. Our main aim is to maintain a high standard that always has your Master Blaster in top condition at the best possible price for you.
